4. Hans Jerg BLESSING was born on 29 Aug 1686 in Hattenhofen, Germany. He died on 4 Aug 1739 in Boll Goeppingen Germany. He was a cooper. Hans Jerg Blessing was spelled "Blessing" on his birth announcement in Hattenhofen. When in Schlierbach, Germany, the surname was spelled "Plessing". When Hans moved to Boll, his childrens birth records were "Blessing". It appears that he was married twice when in Boll, Germany. One of my sources say Hans' first wife was named Barbara
and they were married March 5, 1716 and was a widow from Boll. Another source lists his wife as Anna Barbara and married March 5, 1715. Although their first child was born January 21, 1716, the 1715 marriage date would be more "proper" however, they were human then too so for now I'll use the 1716 date since that is the first date I found. Hans' second wife's name was Elisabeth Greiner also from Boll. I have been told Jerg and Georg are names for our George. Hans is another name for Johanne or John. Some of the Boll records list him as Jerg and others as Georg. The towns of Hattenhofen, Boll and Schlierbach are located south east of Stuttgart, Germany. They are all within about 25 miles or less from Stuttgart. Hans Jerg's first marriage could be 1715. Hans Jerg was
the father of Anthony Blessing.

He was married to BARBARA on 5 Mar 1716 in Schlierbach, Germany. Hans Jerg BLESSING and BARBARA had the following children:

9 i. Johan Jacob BLESSING was born on 21 Jan 1716 in Boll, Germany.
10 ii. Anna Maria BLESSING was born on 5 Jul 1718 in Boll, Germany.
11 iii. Maria Christina BLESSING was born on 29 Aug 1719 in Boll, Germany.

He was married to Elisabeth GREINER (daughter of Balthasar GREINER and Agnes MUELLER) on 21 Oct 1721 in Boll Goeppingen Germany. Elisabeth GREINER was born about 1696 in Pliensbach, Germany. She died on 29 Sep 1764 in Boll Goeppingen Germany. Hans Jerg BLESSING and Elisabeth GREINER had the following children:

14 iii. Anna Maria BLESSING was born on 7 Feb 1726 in Boll, Germany. She died on 6 Jun 1726 in Boll, Germany.
15 iv. Johann Georg BLESSING was born on 29 Apr 1727 in Boll, Germany.
16 v. Johannes BLESSING was born on 20 May 1733 in Boll, Germany.
17 vi. Johann Leonhardt BLESSING was born on 25 Oct 1734 in Boll, Germany.
18 vii. Johann Leonhardt BLESSING was born on 15 Jan 1736 in Boll, Germany.
