89. Mary BLESSING was
born on 10 Dec 1823 in Dauphin County, Pa.. She died on 25 Mar 1892 in Salem,
Marion Co. Ill.. She has descendant number 1-5-2-1. Mary died at the residence
of her sister Mrs. Kate Fairfowl.
Mary's Obituary:
Mrs. Mary Blessing Straub died at the residence of Mrs. Kate Fairfowl 1 1/2 miles
east of Salem, Illinois at 5 p.m., March 25, 1892. She was born December 10,
1823, in Dauphin County, Penna., was married to George W. Wilkerson in 1842 at
Vincennes, Indiana, who preceded her to the great beyone, some 28 years. She
was again married to Charles
H. Straub, at Salem, Ill. in 1866. She professed religion during her youth and
united with the M. E. church and remained a consistent christian for over 50
years and until her death. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, four
sons and one daughter, two sisters, a brother and a number of more distant relatives,
to all of whom we extend sympathy.
She was married to Charles H. STRAUB on 7 May 1866 in Marion Co., Illinois.
She was married to George
W. WILKERSON about 1842 in Vincennes, Indiana. Mary BLESSING
and George W. WILKERSON had the following children:
