Rev. Harry E. Aldinger, 86, of Lebanon Valley Brethren Home and formerly of Derry
Twp., died Thursday in Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp. He has a life member,
former pastor and pastor emeritus of the Conewago Church of the Brethren, Bachmanville;
a former elder of the district, and a retired farmer and carpenter. Surviving
are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond G. Snyder, Jr. of Elizabethtown; four sons, Herman
R. and R. Emmert, both of
Elizabethtown, John R. of Hummelstown and Alvin R. of Derry Twp.; two sisters,
Mrs. Esther Baker and Mrs. Edna Reiber, both of Elizabethtown; 12 grandchildren,
15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.
Services will be held Monday at 2p.m. at the Conewago Church of the Brethren,
Bachmanville, Lancaster County. The Rev. Levi J. Zeigler and the Rev. Howard
Whitacre will officiate. Burial will be in Conewago (Hoffer's) Cemetery."
